Intersections: Chicago Jazz Fest Afterfest: Remembering Fred Anderson

Elastic Arts and ChicagoMusic.org presents “Intersections: a series featuring the musicians of the AACM and Asian Improv aRts Midwest”, Chicago Jazz Fest Afterfest at Elastic Sound and Vision Gallery located at 2830 North Milwaukee Ave., 2nd Floor.

August 31 and September 1—Chicago Jazz Fest Afterfest: Remembering Fred Anderson hosted by Mwata Bowden (AACM) and Tatsu Aoki (Asian Improv aRts Midwest) featuring Douglas Ewart, Dushun Mosley, Hanah Jon Taylor, Kidd Jordan, Francis Wong and special guests. Saxophonists Ari Brown, Lester Lashley II and Kidd Jordan will be honored as Respected AACM Elders at the event.

$15* /$10 for students.

*(A $2 discount will be given to Jazz Institute of Chicago members.)
Elastic is a BYOB venue located over Friendship Restaurant at 2830 N. Milwaukee Ave.
