From Market to Makeit

Graze magazine presents a celebration of the trip from farm to feast with its event From Market to Makeit.

On August 26, food and literary lovers are invited to join Graze at the Logan Square Farmers Market between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and select farm-fresh produce to use in their favorite dinner dishes while sipping on coffee roasted and brewed by Bang Bang Pie Shop.

After preparing their entrees at home, participants will bring their dishes to Bang Bang Pie Shop (2051 N. California Ave.) for a BYOB potluck from 5 to 8 p.m. The outdoor event will feature music by Poor Elvis, a peach shortcake created exclusively for Graze by the hosting pie bakers, judging by Logan Square Farmers Market manager Megan Larmer, and a social celebration of the glorious end of summer. Graze will also hold a raffle featuring prizes from Bang Bang Pie Shop, Barbara&Barbara, Koval Distillery, Longman & Eagle, Owen & Engine, Two With Water, and more!
