New Jazz Mural to raise money for Woody Guthrie Disease

A gala event which will unveil the largest Jazz mural in Chicago to raise funds and help raise awareness for Huntington's disease (also known as Woody Guthrie's disease), will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 5th from 7pm to 10pm at Orchestra Hall in Logan Square - 2341 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, IL

Muralist and printmaker, Stefan Johanson, will unveil his latest mural, which commemorates the emergence of the modern Jazz Masters. This event will also mark the grand opening of Orchestra Hall's new outdoor performance venue, a unique space in Logan Square which will feature music and theatrical events.

Entertainment for the event will be provided by The Logan Square New Music Ensemble (a large chamber group which plays original compositions by their members), and Jeff

Kier & The Grilly Brothers Jazz Ensemble.

A $12 suggested donation will include a beverage of choice.
